Recently I'm obsessed with Timmy's dog Peppi so I decided to make her some stickers for WhatsApp, and let me tell you how I come up with the stickers.
The first thing that I needed to get it right is the shape of Peppi's face. She's an Australian Shepherd, so, thick fur, long and narrow nose, three colours. Here is the picture of Australian Shepherd
And here's how I sketched.

As you see, I didn't get it right at all, I kept trying and trying, but it didn't look like her at all.
But the magical thing is, after drawing 20 different faces, it just clicked, and I found out the face shape that satisfies me the most!
So I started to add emotions to it.
And then coloured it...
And tadaaaaaaaaaa
I have so much fun with this, and by the time I finished, my muscle memory has built up, and I can easily redraw Peppi again, and drawing Shepherd is not a problem for me any more hehe.
I think for me, this is an EUREKA moment when design: Suddenly everything just clicks, and you finally find a way for your solution. But the thing is, you have to keep trying and trying, and eventually, you will see the light at the end of the tunnel.
