I have just finished Interstellar for the first time. Yes, for the first time! I've been postponing watching this masterpiece because my list of watching award-winning movies keep going on and I always decided to watch other things when it's movie time because "I want to save it for another occasion".
By the way, I always spend my Thursday and Sunday to watch a movie. Movie is an art, and as an artist, I need to expand my output to better my input.
So, I cried three times in the movie, and the Interstellar soundtrack I usually listen to while studying has an even more emotional impact. It's because I just find out that when Christopher Nolan asked Hans Zimmer to write this masterpiece, he didn't even mention what the movie is about. He just gave Zimmer a piece of paper contained a brief story of a father leaving a child behind, and two lines of dialogue: "I'll come back" and "When".
And this soundtrack was born.
I will definitely going to watch this movie again! Such a masterpiece!!!
